After the Buddha at the Gas Pump interview, many people were left with questions, so Cindy held this interactive webinar. The excellent questions brought forth practical pointers to inner peace and freedom. (If you haven’t seen the original Buddha at the Gas Pump interview which sparked these questions, watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wn0eFE0y4gw&t=20s)
Whatever drew you to seeking something beyond the world, the desire for something not of the world, the desire for freedom from the world, has arisen. Yet, beyond that, there are some other “symptoms” that indicate you are ready for enlightenment, or Self-Realization.
At its essence, the message of the loved and revered Spiritual Masters who have passed was:
Many people think being “spiritual” is working on themselves within. But spirituality has nothing to do with inner work, because: There is no separate self within. That’s not to say that you don’t exist.

Client: Now when I feel agitated or angry, I find I am always questioning the I. Cindy: Good. And what happens?
Your whole life everyone, including your parents, siblings, friends, school, church, songs, news, movies, etc. have all been telling you who to be, or who you are. Of course, nothing they say matters, until…
Do you know who you are? Not as a thought, not as an idea, not as a story, not as a gender, etc., but as final, unchanging, everlasting Truth? What is Self-inquiry? How is it to be done?
What is Self-realization? Self-realization does not mean everyone around you perceives you as warm and fuzzy. How they perceive and feel is their business. This is also true before Self-realization. Each is the master and authority of themselves. Otherwise what is the point of Self-realization? Warm and fuzzy does not mean someone else is realized; it means you are feeling warm and fuzzy.
To my client who says “I am not you, I do not see” – that does not mean that you will always believe in yourself. I used to believe in myself. What is it to believe in yourself?…
