Dear Self: What is your take on repeated shunning by strangers in a particular locality, when acceptance occurs in other localities?
Cindy Teevens Shunning is a perception. It comes from within, not from others. Notice it is just a thought that feels bad, and learn to withdraw your power of attention from such thoughts. You will feel better, and when you shift your state this way, your perception will switch, you will have access to wisdom, and you will not see “shunning.” You will realize it never happened. You are free.
Cindy Teevens When you do not see shunning, you may see other possibilities, and certainly you will be available to the truth of others rather than your own projection or fear about them. You may become genuinely curious rather than assuming that you know another’s truth, the walls may fall, and better understanding of each other and closer intimacy may result.
